WW1 1 / NORFOLK / VOLUNTEERS VTC one piece brass shoulder title

Two original loops to the reverse, a generic title which was fitted with a slightly different coloured brass 1 at time of manufacture. There were seven battalions of the Norfolk Volunteer Regiment which were consolidated to form the 1st to 4th Volunteer Battalions of the Norfolk Regiment by 1918. So far Westlake has only noted titles of this pattern to the 1st and 2nd Battalions. Both had the small brass flowers of four petals each upon which the lugs were mounted. Very elegant!
