Lancashire Hussars (Yeomanry) Bronze Cap Badge
An early bronze die struck original issue of this much faked badge. Note the 7 seeds around the central seed of the Lancashire Hussars rose, most copies have 6. Note also the correct position of the lugs. Some slight damage to edge of scroll below the SS in Hussars, but a lovely bronze patina and scarce.
K&K Vol 1 No 1472 refers (evenly spaced letters but in bronze).

Unique officer's quality beret badge to the 268 ( Warwickshire ) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, circa 1950s. All ranks wore small gilt grenades with silver ubique scrolls below as collar badges on their battledress blouses. (See Plate 59 and Fig. 314 in Norman Litchfield's book).
