A small red edged golden yellow Maltese cross embroidered on black shield. Removed from a uniform. In good overall condition. Evidence of display tape to reverse.

Originally formed in Malta as 7th AA Brigade in 1936. Served with distinction throughout the Siege of Malta, 1940-1943.

Removed from uniform, a black Francolin Partridge in flight on a white oval background. In this instance the white background appears to have been accentuated by the original owner with white blanco, a common practice. In good overall condition. Worn by 8th Corps until 1943 and South Western District thereafter. Worn in facing pairs.
