Royal Munster Fusiliers (RMF) Officers Cap Badge - Blades - mounted on Green Felt Shamrock
A rare officers silver plated / gilt cap badge, two part construction with two blades and original green felt shamrock backing to the reverse. Gilt dull and mainly back to brass, some polishing to detail on tiger otherwise in very good condition. As ever, I do not recommend opening the blades.

Highland Light Infantry (HLI) NCO's Pattern Glengarry Badge with Tartan Backing
A heavy die cast glengarry badge with three tabbed separately applied gilt fittings. Two original copper loops to the reverse. Some service wear, original double thickness tartan badge backing (MacKenzie Tartan (HLI sett)). The badge is circa 5cms tall. I would have said official issue, not private purchase.

Die cast and silver plated, some dark toning to siliver finish, in very good condition but with two original long silvered loops to the reverse (some severe bending to these but still fully functional). This pattern worn was sealed in 1950 and worn until 1990.
