Royal Northumberland Fusiliers ( RNF ) Pattern Torin Cap with Bullion St George's Grenade

In superb condition with no damage or moth, with only signs of minor wear to inside. See also the copy photo of Major Mordue of the 4/5th Territorial Battalion RNF wearing this pattern in 1966 (copied from the St George's Gazette for August 1966, page 159). Gosling green and black felt, with no fading or damage. This pattern was worn on and off by officer's of the Regiment, since about 1899. The satin lining has makers mark for the London military taylor, Herbert Johnson's Ltd. Badge is the small pattern grenade with St George in silver mounted on the ball. Badge is circa 3.5cm tall. A scarce find in such good condition.
