Royal Munster Fusiliers OR's Bi-metal cap badge circa 1898-1922

A good scarce die-stamped bi-metal example on slider, with two expansion holes behind the slider.

Following the establishment of the Irish Free State in 1922, the regimental Colours were received by King George V on 12th June at St. Georges Chapel, Windsor Castle; formal disbandment followed on 31st July, 1922.
