24th Lancers Officer's Large Gilt Button - 1970's reproduction

24th Lancers Large Gilt Button, 26mm in diameter, fixed shank. Just the words Gaunt, London in a circle. steel back. Gaunt is weakly struck and G and T almost missing.

Made in the 1970s for collectors. This style of naming is found on later anodised buttons not WW1 and WW2 issue. An interesting discussion thread on these reproductions can be found at:
