An extremely fine quality large early First World War period Manchester Regiment silver and enamel sweetheart brooch, gilt washed, the reverse bearing Birmingham hallmarks for 1914. Maker's details "W.J.D" (William James Dingley, Birmingham) to reverse. Stunning condition, with its original pin fitting and perfect enamel. 32mm tall. An excellent example. This item will come in a small card presentation box. Scarce.
