Scarce 1915 Nelson Copper Cross - Made from Copper from HMS Victory and Foudroyant

Scarce Nelson Copper Cross 1915, circa 2.8cm square with small ring for suspension. Made by the British & Foreign Sailors Society. 1915 date makes it clear it is a patriotic piece referring as it does to Waterloo, Trafalgar but also our World War One allies France, Russia and Belgium, Duty & Honour.

Fully cataloged in "Remember Nelson" (2005) Spink publication for the Nelson Society pp81-83 and noted as scarce without box, rare with box of issue.
