6th Gurkha Rifles Officer 's Blackened Small Pattern Brass Button

Circa 15mm in diameter, fixed shank and maker marked J.H. Johnson & Co. An early looking semi-domed button possibly for wear on officer 's cap. This maker was based in Aligarh, India. Worn circa 1903 to 1947. Scarce. Some wear to finish.
