WW1 Identity Disc Bracelet - 10th ( Service ) Battalion, The Northumberland Fusiliers - Private R. South
Attractively engraved to the reverse with the grenade and emblem of the Northumberland Fusiliers, St George slaying the dragon. Front of disc is engraved ( the engraving covers a hallmark for 1913 ). Each link except the clasp has been stamped in with a small lion indicating it to be of precious metal. I suspect the disc is silver gilt and the chain of a light gold. Not of sufficient wright to get to excited about, but a very attractive and clearly valued piece.
