Rare WW1 Royal Naval Motor Boat Reserve RNMBR Full Dress Cap Badge

Hard to find, an original full dress cap badge to the R.N.M.B.R, some signs of wear and some mothing to the backing material, mainly to the top orb area of the crown Also some minor wear to black felt on left of crown, otherwise in good condition. Circa 6.5cm tall and 4cm wide at crown. This particular version does not have any coloured jewels mounted on rim of crown.

Formed in 1914, Officers were from RNVR, but there were three special ratings who wore a uniform with jackets and special cap and collar badge. This gallant little reserve unit was disbanded in 1921.
