2nd Volunteer Battalion East Kent Regiment NCO 's Pouch Badge, 1880 - 1883
Bi Metal die struck two part construction pouch or shoulder belt plate badge in blackened brass and white metal. Two original screw posts to the reverse and an oval disc with the maker's details Hobson & Son, 13 & 5 Lexington Street, London W. There is minor service wear and the bottom left securing weld of the centre has lifted, but it does not detract. Scarce item.

Only worn for three years. 4th Administrative Battalion became the 2nd VB in 1880 and then was redesignated as the 1st VB East Kent Regiment in 1883. HQ at Canterbury.
