An original WW1 postcard photograph, postally unused, of a senior portrait photograph postcard Royal Navy Officer, signed across the image H. S. Hall 11 - 2 -16. Some creases to top left corner and running down image towards his right ear, otherwise in reasonable condition.

The Navy lists confirm only one H.S. Hall during WW1 and this is Hugh S. Hall and he is noted as having been awarded a CBE (photocopy of the page will be included with the photograph). In 1922 he was still serving and attached to Royal Naval Barracks , HMS Victory , Portsmouth.

His C.B.E. (Civil) Commander's 1st type neck badge, as awarded to Paymaster Rear-Admiral H. S. Hall, Royal Navy has been listed on Pintrest. A copy of LG entry for New Year's Honours 1919 confirming his award will be included also.
