Unique 268 ( Warwickshire ) Royal Artillery ( TA ) Gilt and Silver plate beret badge on red felt backing
Unique officer's quality beret badge to the 268 ( Warwickshire ) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, circa 1950s. All ranks wore small gilt grenades with silver ubique scrolls below as collar badges on their battledress blouses. (See Plate 59 and Fig. 314 in Norman Litchfield's book).

A high gilt and silver plated two part construction metal collar badge with two original lugs. Embossed on the reverse with the maker's details, JR Gaunt London. Circa 3.8cm tall. Fire gilt bright with frosted silver scroll. Sharp detail.
