British Army Cavalry Scout Large Pattern Proficiency Badge with bottom bar

Worn 1905 to 1921. Engraved brass with two original lugs to the reverse . Very large at circa 8.5cm tall for wear on the tunic (see comparison photo with smaller arm badge separately listed for sale below). Scarce to find in this size. Bottom bar indicates either Corporal of Horse or above for the Household Cavalry, or Sergeant Scout / Regimental Scouts for the Cavalry of the Line. The final photo compares it to its smaller cousin!
