Lord Lieutenant of Scotland Bullion Kings Crown Cap Badge and Gilt Collar Badge Set

A rare set, pre 1952. The bullion in good condition and the large gilt metal collars (non-facing), have been cast, each with two original loops to the reverse, gilt bright and in superb condition. Please note will not split as came together.

Believed to the property of Charles Douglas-Home, 12th Earl of Home (d1918) who was Lord Lieutenant of Berwickshire and Lanarkshire. He was Colonel of the Lanarkshire Yeomanry. Hi Yeomanry badges have been listed elsewhere for sale on the site. He was the grandfather of the British Prime Minister Sir Alec Douglas-Home.
