Irish - Victorian 88th Foot / Connaught Rangers Brass Pagri / Sun Helmet Badge

A quality heavy yellow brass die struck badge with three original long and toned loops to the reverse. Vendor stated it was worn by Connaught Rangers as a pagri / sun helmet badge until 1881 (as the 88th Foot). In lovely condition with sharp detail. Circa 5.8cm wide and 5.2cm tall.
