WW2 Home Front - Inspectorate of Fighting Vehicles Enamel Lapel Badge

A splendid WW2 chrome and enamel lapel badge with original brooch pin fitting and individual issue number 214 to the reverse. A WW I style tank on a red enamel ground to the centre of a yellow enamel circlet bearing the title. Red and yellow being the colours of the Royal Armoured Corps. Worn by officials overseeing the manufacture of fighting vehicles in various factories. A quality item, very well made.
