2nd Volunteer Battalion Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers Kings Crown Collar Badge?

Left facing, King's crown (1902 - 1908) with two original loops to the reverse. Not sure if this unit had a cyclist company which could explain the blackened brass finish. Some damage to one lug but still functional. Apparently also worn by the Cameronians.

Churchill No 725 refers (but this one in blackened brass as opposed to white metal).
