Royal Scots Greys Silver Hallmarked and Enamel Medallion / Pendent / Watch Fob

An intriguing piece with a super quality miniature Scots Greys Cap Badge in silver with enamels above a red enamel heart containing a hand reaching towards a kneeling figure atop of a cliff. Initially I thought this was masonic, but then concluded it was more about duty and love of country, so most likely a patriotic reference. Any information welcome. To the reverse are the maker's details Wilson & Sharp, Edinburgh, WJD and also Birmingham assay marks for 1922 (letter X). Suspension ring to reverse.
