WW2 12th Anti-Aircraft Division Printed Formation Sign
Removed from uniform, folded and considerable staining from glue to the reverse which has soaked through to the front discolouring the white domino.
This printed cloth formation sign was to the 'Double Six Domino Division' whose badge was 12 blue dots on a white domino set on a red horizontal diamond.
The Division covered the South-West of Scotland, including the Clyde Estuary, and the AA defences of Northern Ireland. The Division was raised in November 1940, in time to deal with the attacks on Clydeside and Belfast.
