WW2 Home Front Postal & Telegraph Censorship Branch Lapel Pin Brooch Badge

A scarce original wartime (WW2) oxidised silver badge, featuring a rose within a laurel wreath surmounted by a King's Crown with Greek motto scroll below which translates as "We Work in Silence". Believed to be worn by officers at ports employed to seek out sensitive material which would be of use to the United Kingdom's enemies. in very good condition (the white blob to the bottom of the reverse is just dried polish and I have now cleaned this off). Circa 2.7cms tall.
