The original photo is in very good condition and feintly backed stamped Copyright of the Yorkshire Post & Leeds Mercury and The Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds. It depicts the 2 Army Selection Training Unit being inspected by Brigadier Leslie Wieler, DSO (late KOYLI) and behind him Lieutenant Colonel "Ganga" Dean, MC. Royal Ulster Rifles who was officer commanding of 2 ASTU. Property of Col DR Wood whose father commanded 1 ASTU. See my item 62652 for more information.
