Belgium Croix de Guerre (1940) Stiffened Woven Regimental Flash Designation Formation Sign Cloth Arm Badge

42nd Searchlight Regiment (formed from the Robin Hoods, the 7th Sherwood Foresters in 1936) were cited in the orders of the Belgium Government for outstanding service in Belgium in WW2 and in 1947 the Honours and Distinctions Awards Committee agreed that their successors could wear a flash of the Belgian 1940 Croix de Guerre ribbon, and it was duly worn by the 577th LAA/SL Regiment and the 350th Heavy Regiment, RA (formerly South Notts Hussars Yeomanry). Also worn by the King's Shropshire Light Infantry (KSLI). Stiffened on card and then mounted on a backing card with typed description below.
