WW1 New Zealand Expeditionary Force Onward Cap Badge - British Section (oakleaf frame) In good condition with original slider

Oakleaf pattern, with original slider (bent off centre) otherwise in very good worn condition.

The British Section of the NZEF was formed by New Zealanders living in England, and with a strength of seven officers and 233 men, sailed for Egypt on the 12 December 1914. The section was dissolved the following day with the men being absorbed into the Army Service Corps and an Engineer Field Company.
