Sudan Kordofan Province Police / Officials Cap / Pagri Officers Silver (local hallmarks) Cast 3D Cap Badge

A silver locally hallmarked 3D badge of two part construction with two original silver loops to the reverse. Two native (Arabic) hallmarks to the reverse of the base of the Kudu's head and one to the reverse of the base of the circlet. Circa 4.3cms tall and 2.4cms wide. Silver toned otherwise in very good condition.

Renfrew et al Vol 1 No 1322 refers (but this one in local hallmarked silver)
