WW1 Folkstone Special Constable Constabulary Police Mufti Lapel Buttonhole Enamel and Brass Badge - Dated 1916

A scarce WW1 '1916' dated enamel and brass badge with original horseshoe fitting. In very good condition with no damage to the enamel.

Wilkinson & Cowdell 'Special Constabulary Insignia of England & Wales' (2nd Edn) p45 Fig 1 refers (but the one listed here has a buttonhole fitting as opposed to a brooch fitting).
