The Hampshire Regiment Officers Enamel Silver and Gilt Cap Badge - Marked Silver

A very fine-looking cap badge of two-part construction with two original loops to the reverse and marked S for Sterling Silver. Red velvet backing to crown. Became Royal in 1946 but this pattern was worn until 1949. In great condition with no damage to enamels. Stunning. Circa 47mm tall.
