WW1 County Durham Special Constable Constabulary Police Enamel and Gilt Brass Lapel Buttonhole Mufti Badge - Scroll 'Group Leader'

A rare WW1 Group Leader lapel badge, circa 4cms tall. In good condition with no damage to enamel on the main badge, but some wear/ rubbing to the surface of the white enamel on the scroll, otherwise a fabulous badge. Original horseshoe fitting stamped '37'. Rare.
