Pre WW2 Leicester City Police Special Constable Constabulary Chrome and Enamel Hat / Cap Badge

A chrome and enamel cap badge, maker marked Hiatt. B'Ham (Birmingham) with two original loops to the reverse (bent downwards but fully functional). Some service wear but enamel intact and in overall good condition. Issue number to front, number '542'. Circa 35mm in diameter. Slightly shaped for wear in a cap. Worn from 1932 - 1939, thereafter the cap badge of the regular force was worn. Scarce.
