The 112th Battalion (Nova Scotia), CEF, was an infantry battalion of the Great War Canadian Expeditionary Force. The Battalion was raised in Nova Scotia with mobilization headquarters at Windsor, Nova Scotia under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed July 24, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel H.B. Tremaine with a strength of 36 officers and 1,090 other ranks, arriving in England, where it provided reinforcements for the Canadian Corps in the field until 7 January 1917, when its personnel were absorbed by the 26th Reserve Battalion, CEF.

The men who formed the Battalion were largely Canadian born (91%), and native to Nova Scotia.
