WW1 Motor Machine Gun Corps (MMG) Other Ranks Bi-Metal Cap Badge

In near mint condition with original slider and braised MMG in white metal mounted to the front. Top of crown present but pushed back.

A much copied badge, this badge does not have the die flaw found on most copies, nor is the MG voided as found also on most copies and the MMG is front mounted, again most copies have it mounted with large tabs on the reverse of the crossed guns. Owner states lack of oxidisation is due to being found sealed in tissue paper and mounted on card. Never issued by the look of it.
