WW1 Australian Imperial Force AIF Returned from Active Service badge

A good original First World War 1914 -1919 period 'Australian Military Forces Returned from Active Service badge'; brass circlet surmounted by a Crown, the centre displaying a rising sun, central crown over tri-part scroll 'Australian Military Forces' and 'A.I.F' below on seeded ground; the reverse impressed with indistinct unusual maker's details 'ASTRAL ENGV / Co PERTH' and official late issue number '87493'. Gilt bright in superb condition, complete with original horizontal two loop fittings. Circa 38mm tall.
