In good condition (centre of badge slightly dished) with two original loops and cotter pin. Maker marked
'Caron Bros, Montreal' to reverse.

Formed in April 1918 to perform garrison duty in Canada, the thirteen battalions of the Canadian Garrison Regiment absorbed the Special
Service companies. There was a battalion in each of the thirteen military districts.
