Federated Malay Armed Forces Maintenance Corps Officer's Matched & Facing Cast Bi Metal Collar Badges

Of two part bi metal cast metal matched and facing collar badges of riveted construction, Gilt in lovely bright condition with riveted silver plated overlay, with two original loops to the reverse. A tiger superimposed on crossed Kris and Scabbard with the 11 pointed federation star above. Circa 3.2cms tall. In lovely condition. See my item 66339 for the matching cap badge.

This unit conducted the functions equivalent to those of the RASC, RAOC and REME in the British Army. This pattern worn from 31 August 1957 until full Independence in 1963.
