A Short History of the Durham Light Infantry DLI (1st & 2nd Battalions) Booklet - Attributed

A small card cover booklet of 32 pages, staples now rusted and centre pages detached on one staple so fragile, corner folds some pages and stains and creasing to card covers, central otherwise in reasonable overall condition. No illustrations. Covers the history of the two regular battalions until the 2nd Battalion's departure for China in 1927. Pencil annotation to one of the rear pages - "Sgt Sig J Clark, 2nd Durham LI". Such books were issued to new recruits to foster the Regimental Spirit!
