Middlesex Regiment Officer's Early Pattern Silver Plate and Gilt Collar Badges

Each of two part construction with two original loops to the reverse. In very good condition with no polishing to highpoints. Slight difference in the length of loops to one another but a match in all other respects (longer loops to allow it to be worn on the field service / side cap perhaps?). Each crca 2.9cms tall.

A number of patterns exist, but this one most closely matches Churchill's No 1449.
