It is of little surprise that King Charles visited Kenya as his first official state visit to a Commonwealth Country in the last week given the contribution made by that country in our World Wars. He met local veterans of WW2 and gave replacement medals to those who had 'lost' theirs for fear of reprisal during the Mau Mau campaign. So it was with great delight that I read the review of this two volume set in the latest MHS Bulletin and pounced on a set! Mine are in the post on their way to me as a belated birthday present (thanks mum!) but they could make a great Xmas stocking filler too if you are struggling to find something other than socks, hankies and deodorant!

Really aimed at the Medal collector given they comprise mainly rolls of awards.
