4th / 5th / 6th / 7th Battalion (Territorial Force) The Black Watch (Royal Highlanders) Other Ranks White Metal Glengarry Badge - No Sphinx

A scarce Territorial Force badge (post 1908) as worn by the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Battalions pre WW1 without the Sphinx. Two original large copper loops with splayed feet (some service wear to these), as only found on this badge. This pattern has both Lacessit and Lacesset spellings on the oval scroll, this one being 'Lacessit'. In very good condition with sharp detail. King's crown.

Gaylor p67 / Plate 22 refers.
