64th Regiment of Foot (North Staffordshire) Other Ranks Quilted Shako Helmet Plate

A die struck brass metal example with two dark toned soldered lug fastenings. Some dulling to finish from age and service wear. An original example as worn 1861 - 1869.

(Please note the shape of the tail of the numeral '4' in the final photo. It is half moon in shape and is different to the example in K&K Vol 1 Fig 146).
