WW1 Lincolnshire Regiment (TF) Officer's Bronze OSD Collar Badge - Blank Tablet

A die cast bronze collar badge, left facing, with three of three original loops to the reverse. It appears to have been lacquered, but is otherwise in superb condition and scarce.

As worn by officer's of the 4th and 5th Territorial Force Battalions of the Regiment from their formation in 1908 until 1922 when the Regulars relented and allowed the Territorials, who had died in much the same way as the Regulars in the Trenches of WW1 to wear the Regiment's Battle Honour 'Egypt' on the tablet.
