51st (2nd Yorkshire, West Riding, King's Own Light Infantry) Regiment of Foot Bandsmans Tunic Button

Circa 20.5 mm in diameter, fixed shank, no maker's mark. An early button, circa 1840 - 1858. Some service wear but gilt still bright. In 1881 Army reforms, when it became part of The King’s Own Light Infantry (South Yorkshire Regiment). Thank you to Tim for the correct identification. Rare.
