51st (2nd Yorkshire, West Riding, King's Own Light Infantry) Regiment of Foot Officer's Tunic Button

Circa 20.5 mm in diameter, fixed shank, no maker's mark. An early button, circa 1830 - 1855. Some service wear but gilt still bright. In 1881 Army reforms, when it became part of The King’s Own Light Infantry (South Yorkshire Regiment). Rare.
