89th Regiment of Foot (The Royal Irish Fusiliers) Officer's Tunic Button

Circa 20.5 mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker's mark, Firmin's London. An early button, circa 1830 - 1855. Some service wear and stain to front. Gilt back to brass. In 1881 Army reforms, the 89th Foot became the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Irish Fusiliers. Rare.
