COPY / Reproduction of a WW2 Chocolate Brown Plastic Economy Pattern Womens Land Army (WLA) Timber Corps Cap Badge

I thought long and hard about listing this one. Made in small hand batches by a good friend, this is an impressive copy made from a cast of an original badge. Superb detail to front. However, deliberately finished with an unrealistic back, stamped 'R' for reproduction and with a modern pin / clasp fitting in place of the usual blades. In mint condition as new. More available if required. With the 8th May 2025 80th anniversary of the end of WW2 coming up, many folks are planning street parties and dressing up in period costume. Who would want to take out a rare original badge costing circa £150? So you can wear this copy in a beret or as a breast badge, without the worry of losing or damaging an original. So it is against my usual policy but I can see the merit of this initiative and I would like to support this as it is clearly not going to fool anybody when you look at the reverse.
