WW2 - 304th Independent Infantry Brigade Woven Formation Sign Patch Flash

A woven formation sign, removed from uniform, but a touch over trimmed on the right side otherwise in very good condition and scarce.

The Brigade was formed in October 1944 from three former Search Light regiments including the 5th Battalion of the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers (RNF) which had been reconstituted as the 53rd (Royal Northumberland Fusiliers) Searchlight Regiment, Royal Artillery (TA) in 1938. The brigade was deployed to Norway in June 1945.
