South Africa - Umvoti Mounted Rifles Collar Badge converted to a Sweetheart

Gilding Metal with gilt finish and pin fixing (slight damage to c clasp). Worn from 1910 in this size. Circa 42mm wide and 28mm tall. Possibly converted to a sweetheart. Any information welcome.
