WW2 War Raised Unit - 23rd Hussars Officers Large Pattern Gilt Button

Circa 21mm in diameter (this was the largest of three sizes worn), fixing shank, maker marked JR Gaunt & Son Ltd, London, Eng. Some loss of detail from polishing and gilt mainly back to brass , but a scarce button and only worn y officers of the Regiment.
