REME Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers Officer's Cap Badge, QEII Crown

Unusually the horse globe and chain appear to have been finished in white (a faux or mock frosted sliver plate?), of two part construction, gilt bright. Two original loops to the reverse. Slight wear to finish on highpoints otherwise in very good condition.
