A good die-stamped blackened and lightly voided issue on two original loops. Crowned 'RAAF' resting in Wattle sprays. Some orange coloured stains possibly the underlying metal showing through, but other than that a scarce badge.

Scarce cellulose acetate plastic RAF Sergeant's economy issue sleeve crown (goldish in colour) with original red backing disc. Reverse is embossed "2H" and in small letters maker marked "A. Stanley & Sons, Walsall". Crown is circa 2.7cm across and 2.5cm tall. The disc is 3.1cm in diameter. In very good condition and scarce. read more

An unusual pattern, possibly theatre made, not encountered before, and assumed to be related to Dominion air force units in South Africa or India, but happy to be corrected.
